A Beginning Beekeeping class series will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and April 2 at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Tina Sebestyen, founder of the Four Corners Beekeepers Association, will teach the class. This class is an approved prerequisite to the Colorado State Beekeepers Association Master Beekeeper certification program. Classes are free to veterans, the cost for all others is $50.
