Elizabeth Kremer began work as a part-time San Juan Economic Diversification Coordinator on March 8.
This position, funded by the Department of Local Affairs and with match from San Juan Development Association, will be tasked with working on fiber redundancy, workforce housing and economic diversification.
Kremer was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and has Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Villanova University in Philadelphia. She has gained global experience working in a handful of countries in roles including engineering, operations management, talent acquisition, advertising, marketing and supply chain management. She moved to Southwest Colorado in 2016.
Kremer will be relocating to Silverton, where she and her husband own a home and are looking forward to becoming part of the community.
