“Around the World with the Durango Choral Society” will take place virtually at 7 p.m. Friday.
The performance will feature audio and video performances and rehearsal footage from the group’s concert tours around the world, including Croatia, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hawaii, Santa Fe, Cincinnati, Telluride and Carnegie Hall.
This virtual event offers an inside look at the group’s adventures with commentary by Linda Mack Berven. Also included are performances of international music by the group’s Women’s and Youth choirs.
Ticket pricing is on a sliding-scale basis, starting at $5 per household. Participants may select and pay the amount that fits their budget.

Durango Home & Ranch Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The show will feature experts in home improvement, building, decorating, landscaping, household items, technology for the home or business, remodeling and more.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and younger.
