The city of Durango is now accepting applications for the Food Sales Tax Rebate Program.
City residents with a total household income no greater than 50% of the Area Median Family Income for La Plata County by family size, as published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for 2020, may qualify for the food sales tax rebate.

Only residents who lived within the city limits for the full 12 months of 2020 are eligible to apply. La Plata County residents are not eligible. The applicant must apply for all family members within the household and must list all family members and identify related income for each family member.
Applicants must meet all program requirements.
The application is available at www.durangogov.org/rebates; City Hall, 949 E. Second Ave.; Transit Center, 250 W Eighth St.; and the Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
All forms and supporting documents must be submitted by July 30.
