HomesFund Serving Southwest Colorado will offer a home-buyer education class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Room 710 of Sitter Family Hall at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Participants will learn about programs, credit score reports, household budgets, down payments, reducing debt, pros and cons of buying a home, monthly mortgage rates and closing costs, selecting the best mortgage loan and understanding purchase contracts.
Cost is $15 for materials.
