Letter: Wendt is the underdog we need

I have watched Harrison Wendt grow for the past four years. He continues to impress me with his growth – in self, community and accountability.

Harrison is not phased by the negativity that is tossed his way. I do not think any other candidate has received love, hate and the in-between like Harrison does, and it does not move him. Wanting to become a candidate is not something that he is doing selfishly, but about his desire to improve this community.

He is the strongest person I know. He is a candidate who is proactive and ready to fight for minimum wage, people who are experiencing homelessness, and inequality that our neighbors face daily. A vote for Harrison means a vote for our community’s voices that have been silenced far too long.
