Durango’s Fenton named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week

Now a junior at Metropolitan State University-Denver, Durango High School alum Elijah Fenton continued to impress on the soccer field last week.

For the second time in his career and for the first time since 2018, Fenton was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

A 2018 graduate of Durango High School, Fenton has now appeared in 33 career games for the Roadrunners with 28 starts. He played in a 3-0 loss against CSU-Pueblo on March 12, finishing with one shot on goal. That was the lone match of the week in the RMAC.
