The Methodist Thrift Shop Board has established a scholarship fund for the purpose of helping local people in furthering their education. Applicants are considered on church involvement, leadership, community service, extracurricular activities and personal attributes.
Interested people may pick up an application at the Methodist Thrift Shop, 986 East Second Ave. in Durango or from local high school counselor offices this month.
Applications are due by March 15.
