Iraqi war veteran and mountain climber Chad Jukes will speak to the Rotary Club of Durango at its dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Jukes’ accomplishments include climbing Mount Everest and are a remarkable example of what physically disabled individuals may accomplish. His war injury led to his becoming a leg amputee.
