Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will revisit Durango to record another “Jay and Silent Bob Get Old” stage show at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16, at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College.
The comedic show is not recommended for children.
Smith is best known as the director of the 1994 film “Clerks,” which featured him and Mewes as characters “Jay and Silent Bob.” Smith has since directed films with the duo, such as “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” “Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Clerks 2.”
Smith originally launched the stage show as a weekly live-recorded podcast and intervention for Mewes, who is sober after years of drug abuse and addiction. The podcast gained popularity, and the current tour was formed over the years.
