Durango Nature Studies to hold naturalist training

Durango Nature Studies will hold spring volunteer naturalist training sessions from 6 to 8:30 p.m Wednesday, March 15, at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, at the Nature Center.

Volunteers will receive a training manual and be qualified to lead science-based hikes for kids in kindergarten, first, third and eighth grades. No experience is necessary, and volunteers can choose their own schedule.

Inquire about out Fort Lewis College internship credit if applicable.
