12:11 p.m. A woman reported being assaulted overnight at the homeless camp behind the Durango Tech Center.

2:27 p.m. A man stole toilet paper and food from a motel, according to a report in the 2300 Main Ave.

Saturday

2:56 a.m. A woman was banging on someone’s window with a shovel trying to get inside in the east 200 block of 10th Street.

11:03 a.m. A drunken man was trying to crawl in an alley in the 900 block of Main Avenue.

3:03 p.m. Wind had blown down flags, and they were touching the ground near 11th Street and Main Avenue.

Friday

7:21 a.m. The driver of a silver Buick was weaving in and out of traffic and speeding about 100 mph while driving north on U.S. Highway 550 near County Road 220, south of Durango.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 47 calls Thursday through Sunday, including someone who was bit or attacked by an animal, a brush fire near Elmore’s Corner, a traffic crash in the 1500 block of Main Avenue and a reported structure fire near Florida Road and Maple Drive.
