After living here 40 years-plus, I have noticed how much greed has taken hold of our area, and not to mention the fires and mudslides that we have been experiencing north of town, many people’s lives have been changed and their homes and land ruined, but we keep on with our lives like nothing happened. We all know how the fire was started, but we are made to believe it might take years to determine that. Well, you can believe that if you want, but not this retired firefighter. If you get a chance, take a ride on CR 250 by the KOA campgrounds and then notice our house just to the north with two mudslides and more to come.
