City of Durango crews will start a planned infrastructure improvement project Tuesday to replace water mains at three locations.
Waterlines will be replaced at: West Park Avenue, from 17th Street and Main Avenue to West Third Avenue; West Second Avenue, from 17th Street to West Park Avenue; and 16th Street, from West Second Avenue to West Third Avenue.
Preliminary pipe investigations will start Tuesday, and construction is expected to continue through early December, weather permitting. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to follow traffic control and use caution in construction areas as work is conducted.
