As I review the ballot that just arrived in my mailbox, I’m excited to see some qualified candidates running for Durango City Council.
I’ve know Olivier Bosmans for over a decade and he stands out for his unique set of skills. As an engineer and business owner, Olivier will bring much-needed financial and technical expertise in construction and development, with an eye on environmental impact.
Olivier is committed to increasing transparency and accountability in our local government and has developed relationships with county and city residents and business owners during his service on the La Plata County Planning Commission.
As a parent, Olivier is passionate about sustaining a diverse and healthy community that offers affordable housing, quality education and employment opportunity for all residents of Durango. Throughout his campaign, he has been eager to hear from neighbors, business owners, parents and local nonprofit leaders about their hopes and concerns for Durango.
