New Year’s Eve at the Balcony, 4 p.m., Balcony Bar and Grill, 600 Main Ave., fun drink specials and a giveaway.
New Year’s Eve Decades Party of the Year, 4 p.m., Derailed Pour House, 725 Main Ave., $50-$100, Music by Mr. Black. Pick a decade, wear a costume and win cash prizes for best costumes. VIP tickets $100 and include table, champagne, appetizer, party favors, goody bag, balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight. General admission is $50 but does not guarantee seating. Groups of six or more subject to availability. Call Derailed at 247-5440 to reserve seating for large groups. Two seating times available: 7 and 9 p.m.

Fireworks and Torchlight Parade, 6 p.m., Purgatory resort, 1 Skier Place. Patrollers and ski school instructors traverse down the mountain, lighting up the slopes with torchlights. When the parade arrives at the base area, enjoy a fireworks show.
New Year’s Eve at the Wild Horse, 6 p.m., Wild Horse Saloon, 601 East Second Ave., general admission: $10 each/21 and older; $20 each/18-20 years old; $25 reserved seating (purchase in advance). Live music by Breezin’.

Eric Sages Country Hot Hits, 6 p.m., Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172 North, Ignacio. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., and the party will start at 9. $75 per couple/$40 for a single ticket for both the dinner and the party. Ticket price also includes party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. New Year’s Eve party (excludes dinner) tickets are $15 and will include party favors and champagne toast. New Year’s Eve at Fur Trappers Steak House, 7 p.m., Fur Trappers Steak House and Bar, 17460 County Road 501, Bayfield. A Masquerade party, so wear a mask. Dinner reservations recommended. Complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Reeder and Spencer will play dinner and dance music from 7 p.m. to 12:30 am.
Cinematica’s NYE Party featuring DJ Nutsako, 7 p.m., Lauter House Brewing Co., 1806 E. 20th St., Farmington. 21and older with ID. $5 cover. 7 to 9 p.m.: DJ Nutsako, 9 to 10:30 p.m.: Cinematica.
