La Plata Electric Association will host its Stuff the Kettle Green Chile Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the cooperative’s Durango headquarters, 45 Stewart Street in Bodo Industrial Park. The fundraising lunch will help the Salvation Army during the holidays.
La Plata Electric Association will host its Stuff the Kettle Green Chile Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the cooperative’s Durango headquarters, 45 Stewart Street in Bodo Industrial Park.
The fundraising lunch will help the Salvation Army over the holidays. It will be held during the regular meeting of the LPEA board of directors. Directors will be joining the community effort and available to speak over lunch with cooperative members.
No reservations required. Guests can enjoy a variety of green chile stews, tortillas or corn bread, and a beverage for a donation to the Salvation Army of any amount. The suggested donation is $5. Desserts available for an extra donation.
