Durango Education Foundation announces a new scholarship available to graduating seniors from Durango High School and Big Picture High School.
The DLM Scholarship will award up to $10,000 to cover tuition, books and fees. Award criteria is as follows:
Recipient must enroll in a four-year public college or university in Colorado.Recipient must intend to enter one of these fields: STEM areas, medical, business or education.Student should demonstrate character, focus and dedication to pursuing higher education, with strong commitment to specific career goals. Financial need will be an important consideration.GPA is not necessarily the deciding factor in the award.
The application deadline is March 14.
