R1 Colorado has welcomed new Broker Associate Scott Takacs to its Durango office. Takacs, a Realtor with 10 years of experience, joins the R1 Team in assisting customers in all areas of real estate – residential, commercial and land.
Takacs grew up Los Alamos, New Mexico, and has longed to return to mountain living ever since. He relocated to Durango in 2019. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from New Mexico State University in 1993. Takacs began his career in Real Estate in New Mexico in 2010 with a Century 21 franchise. In 2013, he opened an independent brokerage, Scott Takacs Real Estate, in Artesia, New Mexico, and grew his firm to become one of the area’s most productive offices before relocating to Albuquerque in 2017 where he again was a top broker for 360 Ventures Real Estate.
