San Juan Regional Medical Center will offer two free drive-thru flu shot clinics from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 in the north visitor parking lot located at the corner of Maple Street and Schwartz Avenue. Enter on Maple Street.
Participants should wear a short-sleeved shirt, or roll up sleeves ahead of time, to receive the vaccine in the upper arm near the shoulder.
Wear a mask and bring a cellphone for use in filling out paperwork. Wait to get a flu vaccine if any COVID-19 symptoms are present.
The free flu shots are available on a first come, first serve basis for adults ages 18 and older. Flu shots for children should be scheduled with their regular provider. Patients of San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics may call (505) 609-6700 to schedule a flu vaccination.
