The Fort Lewis Mesa annual read-a-thon will begin Friday and run through March 10.
The read-a-thon is not only a fun and exciting way to encourage students to read, it is one of the school’s largest annual fundraisers.
Sponsors can pledge support to students for overall minutes read or give one lump sum of money. Money raised will support the needs of students and teachers in the classroom. Students can also receive prizes and recognition for their hard work during the read-a-thon.
