Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering has announced the cancellation of the annual Barn Dance and Picnic Fundraiser because of the current public health order that prohibits gatherings of more than 10 people.
The event is the organization’s only fundraiser, and proceeds go toward providing grants to youth programs such as the FFA and 4-H. Community members who are financially able to help are asked to consider donating at the least the cost of a ticket ($15) to the Gathering. Donations are tax deductible.

The 2021 band dance will be held June 13 at River Bend Ranch.
