75 years ago: The Animas Valley Consolidated Ditch, one of the first co-operated irrigation ditches in the San Juan Basin, was out of debt for the first time in years, according to shareholders.

50 years ago: Montezuma County Court terminated 911 traffic, 49 criminal and 243 civil cases during 1967, according to the annual report prepared by court clerk Mrs. Anna Pattern.

25 years ago: Flu season in Colorado opened late with confirmation of one influenza case, type B-Panama, and expectation that others would follow, according to state health department officials.
