The Durango Recycle Center will accept electronic waste, batteries and residential quantities of florescent bulbs on Saturdays beginning June 6. The Recycle Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
These restrictions apply:
All customers are required to wear a face covering or mask while using the public drop off area.Up to six large items per vehicle are allowed.A maximum of two cars will be allowed in the drop off area at one time.To ensure proper social distancing between customers and employees, only one person will be allowed out of the vehicle to dispose of recycle material.Signs are posted at gate areas to remind customers about procedures. Single-stream materials are accepted Tuesday through Saturday.
