The Powerhouse Science Center will host the Apollo 14 Virtual Speaker Series from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Participants can tune into @powscicenter Facebook stream to hear speakers Steven Cooper and Renee Jack discuss satellite and resource tracking technologies that smokejumpers and wildland firefighters rely on, and how they use them for decision-making in fighting fires.
The presentation is free to the public. A live Q&A will be held after the event.
