An eight-session sculpture class for seniors will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. each Wednesday from April 5 to May 24, at Durango-La Plata Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
Karen Harms, who has more than 30 years of experience as an artist, will teach participants techniques used to work with wood construction, venetian plaster, wire, found-object manipulation and slate relief. Students should expect to complete two to three pieces.
Cost is $96 and does not include supplies.
