A fundraiser for and presentation about the Bhotia Foundation will be held Wednesday at Himalayan Kitchen, 992 Main Ave.
The Bhotia Foundation, a nonprofit organization, funds and implements programs in the Bhot-Khola region of northeastern Nepal to develop education, promote health, improve living conditions and foster economic opportunities for residents. The presentation will provide information about the Bhotia Foundation and feature images and stories about the Bhot-Khola region in the Himalayas.
The event will include a cash bar and social time from 5 to 6 p.m., a presentation and slide show from 6 to 7 p.m. and a buffet dinner from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m.
Admission is a $45 minimum suggested donation. Proceeds from the event go to the Bhotia Foundation and its projects.
