That’s a wrap from L.A.

The Durango High School track team wrapped up its stay in Los Angeles for the Arcadia Invitational on Saturday.

Shannon Maloney finished 22nd in the women’s 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 17.04 seconds. Jacquelyn Hill from Etiwanda High School (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) finished first in 2:11.93.

The girls 4x400-meter relay came in 19th place in 4:04.41, while Junipero Serra High School (San Mateo, Calif.) won the event in 3:52.35.

The DHS boys 4x400-meter relay team ran a 3:28.42 to place 28th. Paramount High School (Paramount, Calif.) finished first in 3:20.47.

DHS will return home to host its annual Ron Keller Invitational at 1 p.m. Tuesday at DHS. Keller, the Demons’ longtime cross country and track and field head coach, recently was inducted into the Colorado High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
