A big ball of fun

Juliana McKown runs and splashes in a large plastic ball in a small inflatable pool at the La Plata County Fair on Thursday afternoon. Based out of Summit County, Wacky Waters Walkers, which makes the ball, conceptualizes a human hamster ball that offers the feel of walking on water. The company caters to fairs and festivals, and it has been at the La Plata County Fair for two years. Juliana is the daughter of Mandy and Will McKown.
