Because of Chinese virus restrictions and mandates imposed by the Democratic mayor of Durango and Durango City Council, along with the Democratic governor of Colorado, our Durango Halloween has been effectively canceled. Leave it to the Democrats to cancel Halloween. I know they want to show how important and powerful they are, and that they know better than us what is best for us but canceling Halloween is somewhat extreme. The kids of our area are the ones who miss out on this part of their childhood.
