After months of listening to candidates giving speeches and participating in debates, followed up by comments from supporters and opponents on every side, we were privileged to cast our votes to determine who our next president will be.
Now Mr. Trump needs to be given a chance to lead (as Ms. Clinton wisely stated). He needs the prayers of American citizens to be guided in his decisions ... a concept not new to our forefathers.
This nation went through a refiner’s fire to get the freedoms we desperately wanted, and established a constitution that would protect those freedoms. We need to do whatever we can to protect those freedoms and our constitution.
Voting for people in public office who hopefully love America and want to protect her and what she stands for is proactive in this cause.
Cynicism, skepticism and negativism are detrimental and divisive.
America needs unity now more than ever.
