Animas High School juniors in Jessica McCallum’s classes invite the community to engage in civil discourse on a variety of controversial topics from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The discussion aims to build understanding and find common ground in a divisive political climate.
The students’ Humanities Exhibition for their project “Deconstructing America: Rhetoric, Ideology, and the Democratic Experiment” will show during the event.
