The Kiwanis Club of Durango will meet at noon Thursday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Shelby Tisdale director of the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, will speak.
The meeting is open to all. Lunch is optional and costs $13.
