50 years ago: A storm of rain, snow and sleet left nearly a quarter-inch of precipitation, which brought the April precipitation moisture to 6.03 inches.

25 years ago: Durango Police Department received a report of two men with long hair living in a trailer and playing loud rap music at the corner of Ninth Street and East Fifth Avenue. Police told the men not to camp there anymore.
