Dillon Washburh shot a 157 across two rounds, good for a tie in 22nd place, to lead the Fort Lewis College men’s golf team on the first day of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Event No. 2 at Eisenhower Golf Course, located on the United State Air Force Academy base.
The Skyhawks shot a 646 to place ninth after two rounds.
Colorado Mines leads the field with a team score of 598.
Nathaniel Goddard is in the individual lead with a 144.
Josh Woodword followed close behind his FLC teammate in 24th with a 158.
Lucas Laudick tied for 40th at 164 for the Skyhawks, while Mitch Donely is in 43rd at 167, and Michael Thomas placed 50th so far with a 170.
The third and final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
