The Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors recently approved a decrease, for the third consecutive year, in 2018 workers’ compensation rates for Colorado policyholders, effective Jan. 1.
Rates will decrease an average of 7.4 percent.
The board also announced that it intends to issue a general dividend of approximately $50 million to policyholders in 2018. The general dividend is a portion of surplus shared with policyholders, and will be issued at the end of April.
