Durango gallery, studio and retail space Studio & is now carrying the paintings of Miki Harder and ceramic works of Jonah Amadeus.
Harder is a painter known regionally for her whimsical representations of ravens. Amadeus manipulates clay in all its forms in his own custom ceramic studio in Durango.

Symphony welcomes new board members
The San Juan Symphony board of directors has welcomed three new members and named a new board president.
New members are Anita Cohen and Polly Morgenstern from Durango, and Cheryl Stoltzfus from Farmington. In addition, the board has named Joel Jones as its new president. Jones, the former president of Fort Lewis College, replaces Sheri Rochford Figgs.
The board is also in the midst of a national search for a new conductor to replace outgoing maestro Arthur Post. Rochelle Mann, who is leading the search, reported at the board’s last meeting that search committee members are thrilled about the pool of candidates.
