Center of Southwest Studies to close exhibits Friday

The photos have been on display at the museum of the Center of Southwest Studies. However, the museum at the center will close Friday, and it will remain closed until mid-February 2017.

The Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College will close its museum exhibits on Friday.

Two exhibits are currently on display: “Time Exposures: Picturing a History of Isleta Pueblo in the 19th Century” and “Parks, People and Preservation: Celebrating the National Park Service in the Southwest.”

Usual museum hours are Monday through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. or by appointment. After Friday, the museum will remain closed until mid-February 2017.

Fort Lewis College will go on fall break from Monday, Nov. 21, to Friday, Nov. 25. However, the center’s Delaney Library and Archives will be open by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, through Wednesday, Nov. 23, To request an appointment, call 382-6951.
