President Obama just interfered in the normal regulatory processes again and halted the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline.
A lot of the liberal news outlets are trying to mask the fact that Obama personally interfered by laying the action against the Army Corps of Engineers. No, it was Obama making a unilateral change to the regulations because he takes the side of the far left in most matters, regardless of laws and regulations.
During the Obama Administration, he has unilaterally changed existing laws, refused to enforce other laws that he didn’t like, has attempted to quash Fox News and conservative talk radio, has blocked investigations into Democratic wrongdoings, has given cronies government money in the form of contracts, has taken money from private investors in General Motors and given it to union cronies, and so on.
This is basically tyranny, yet to hear the Democrats tell it, they’re predicting that Trump will engage in tyranny. Folks, tyranny has been here for eight years and your liberal news outlets have been very careful to not mention it. Where was the outrage then? Do you see any questioning of the Standing Rock decision in your local leftist media?
Look at the Standing Rock decision and understand that if you’re for going around existing regulations, you’re encouraging tyranny. You’re probably going to get some payback because Trump is going to take Obama’s extra-legal excesses as an excuse to act on his own whims.
