Parks and Wildlife extends hours for hunting season

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is extending office hours to include Saturdays at some locations throughout the state during big game rifle seasons, Oct. 11 - Nov. 16.

The extended hours will provide hunters with an additional day to find information, purchase a license or personally contact customer service representatives with questions.

"Some folks are packing up and on the road to their hunting camp and then realize that they left their license or hunter's education card back home," said CPW Public Information Officer Matt Robbins. "Extended office hours afford those individuals the chance to pick up what they need at select CPW offices without having to turn around and go home." For a complete listing of offices with extended hours go to http://cpw.state.co.us/Documents/About/2014CPWExtendedOfficeHours.pdf.

The Durango office will be open during the following:

8 a.m. to noon, Sat. Oct 11, Oct. 18 and Nov. 1

Also, CPW in Durango will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Columbus Day on Oct. 13 and Veteran's Day on Nov. 11. The Durango office can be reached at 247-0855.
