The Pine River Seniors recently elected board members for 2015. They are president Anne Rudolph, vice-president Carole McWilliams, secretary Cookie Hoselton, treasurer Vicky Mozgai, and board members Charlene Johnson, Kathy Worley, Bob Worley, Phyllis Ludwig, and Dory Durkan.
The seniors held their annual fall fundraiser arts and crafts fair, bake sale, and silent auction on Nov. 8 and raised around $4,700 to support seniors' activities and community service groups.
In October they made donations from previous fundraisers, $250 each to the Bayfield Lions, Pine River Rotary to support the Bayfield Family Center kids' backpack program, Salute 2 Veterans, and the Florida Aspen Club, which provides Christmas assistance to several local families in need.
