Jolean Scott
There is a benefit bake sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Brenda's Old West Cafe for Jolean Scott, a Bayfield girl diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, an inoperable brain tumor.
Donated goodies are welcome. The sale is from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and Saturday until 2:30 p.m.
There also will be Christmas caroling for the Scott family on Christmas Eve. All are welcome to gather at 6:15 p.m. at 624 Louisiana Drive in Mesa Meadows, near the Bayfield Primary School. Carolers will walk to the Scott residence and sing three carols to Jolean and her family.
