Preparing for launch

Lena Rohn, 9, of Durango concentrates on disassembling electronic devices in the search for usable parts to construct a “Rubber Duck Launcher” Wednesday at Riverview Elementary School. It was one of many projects for area children who are participating in Camp Invention, which has children solve real-world challenges. The weeklong camp is sponsored by the nonprofit Invent Now.
