10:07 a.m. A resident reported that a neighbor tried to steal firewood in the 1200 block of Florida Road.
12:16 p.m. Someone reported that three men, one with a 2-foot-long “knife” on his hip, were fighting at Manna soup kitchen, 1100 Avenida del Sol.
7:22 p.m. Three men were sitting on the sidewalk and violating a sidewalk ordinance in front of Main Mall, 835 Main Ave. Police made an arrest.
7:49 p.m. Someone reported witnessing five or six juveniles shooting heroin next to the Animas River behind Burger King, 1415 Main Ave.
10 p.m. A drunken man spit on someone in the 900 block of Main Avenue.
10:02 p.m. Police made an arrest after a drug violation was reported in the lower 100 block of River Oaks Drive.
10:33 p.m. Police deployed a K-9 unit and conducted a search at Farmington Hill, in the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 550.
Saturday
1:55 a.m. Someone was screaming and crying for help in the Walmart parking lot, 1155 South Camino del Rio.
4:41 a.m. A drunken woman was passed out in a bathroom at the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.
9:27 a.m. A man was acting irrationally and screaming about killing in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
10:55 a.m. Someone reported a drunken man was being unruly in Iris Park, 1235 Camino del Rio.
4:11 p.m. A drunken man refused to leave south City Market, 6 Town Plaza. Police made an arrest.
4:12 p.m. Someone reported a man flicking cigarette butts everywhere at an intersection just east of Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio.
4:36 p.m. A drunken man was about 40 feet up a tree yelling at people in the 1900 block of East Third Avenue.
7:43 p.m. Arson was reported at Tractor Supply Co., 1175 Dominguez Drive.
Sunday
2:05 a.m. A shirtless man was running in the street at east 15th Street and Main Avenue.
10:49 a.m. A woman and a man who was possibly on drugs were fighting at Denny’s Restaurant, 666 Camino del Rio. Police made an arrest.
12:24 p.m. A cow was on the road in the 500 block of Confluence Avenue.
5 p.m. A drunken man with an open container of alcohol was trespassing at College Plaza Laundry, 509 East Eighth Ave. Police made an arrest.
7:01 p.m. A drunken person ate a watermelon without paying for it at Walmart, then refused to leave the store. Police made an arrest.
Monday
12:40 a.m. A man ran screaming and yelling through the DoubleTree Hotel and out into the parking lot toward Albertsons, 501 Camino del Rio.
Durango Fire
Firefighters and medics responded to 44 calls Friday through Sunday, including seven fire alarms, four people who fell, a brush fire, three other types of fires, a report of smoke outside, someone who had a stroke, a fuel spill, one incident of heat or cold exposure and someone who was bitten or attacked by an animal.
