The Southwest Colorado Outdoor Expo welcomed more than a thousand visitors through its gates Saturday and is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The inaugural expo, sponsored by the Ignacio Chamber of Commerce, highlights gear, boats, vehicles and everything for the outdoors. The expo is in the Sky Ute Fairgrounds off Highay 172 and 151.
Activities include a carnival for kids, beer tent for adults, and a food tent by the Pine River Community Learning Center. Saturday featured a the Pine River horse sale by Ken Beck.
