Julie Westendorff and Gwen Lachelt have worked hard to address issues that concern La Plata county residents.
They have collaborated with our state legislators to initiate legislation that will allow us to petition the Federal Communications Commission to formally request that we be able to access Denver broadcasts from commercial satellite companies.
This is the closest that we have ever gotten and it is because of the hard work of our current commissioners. Westendorff and Lachelt have paved the way for us to get relevant local information from our satellite TV providers.
