Two special shows – The Wailin’ Jennys and Asleep at the Wheel – will take the Community Concert Hall stage this summer at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive:
The Wailin’ Jennys, an all-female Canadian folk trio, will return to FLC by popular demand to perform at 7:30 p.m. July 24; cost is $25-$48.Asleep at the Wheel, a 10-time Grammy-award winning Texas-based Western swing band, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12; cost is $30-$40.Tickets for both performances will be on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, available at the Durango Welcome Center, 802 Main Ave., by phone at 247-7657 or online at www.durangoconcerts.com.
