Back(stroking) into the home pool

After a long layoff, Robert Smith and the rest of the Durango High School boys swimming team will get back in the pool at 3 p.m. Friday in a dual meet with Montrose. The last time the Demons hosted a dual, they beat Gunnison 498-187. That was back April 4. Brothers Ben and Josh Miller have posted the best times in the majority of the DHS events this year. Howard Richards owns the best time in the 50-meter freestyle. This is the last meet of the year for DHS before heading to the CHSAA Class 4A State Championships on May 16-17 in Fort Collins.
