Jim states that the thistle deserves recognition as Scotland’s national flower. I consider this of little merit, as I believe the thistle is Scotland’s only flower. He discusses the main feature of this flower, its ability to inflict pain on invading Norsemen. Ah, the subtle beauty!
Jim discusses the nutritional value of the milk thistle, but I would carefully consider consuming anything from the country that gives us blood pudding.
He makes some good points in favor of the thistle; however, before any action is taken to grant it sanctuary, further dialogue is needed.
