Durango/La Plata Senior Center and Comfort Keepers will present “Parenting Your Parents,” a virtual conference, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The conference is designed to tackle issues that arise when parents or senior loved ones start to need more help. Topics will include: role reversal; coping with dementia; caregiver burnout and support; handling finances; available resources and more. There will also be virtual interactive caregiving experiences, which will provide a variety of scenarios and group discussion.
The conference is presented by Hana Mueller, client coordinator and community liaison with Comfort Keepers, and Erin Youngblood, administrator with Comfort Keepers.
